Hits and Miss
There's something about me today....and I'm not enjoying it.
It started as soon as I stepped out of the house for work this morning. A guy greeted me with good morning, not someone i know. Then there's another guy near the MRT station who utttered good morning when we passed by each other. And then the seemingly lolo who look back at me as soon as he walk passed me and then stared at my faced for so long i almost asked him if he wants something from me.
I don't mind getting hi's or hello's to stranger but staring at me is a little off..it's impolite actually. The paranoid in me instantly had a self-check: "Bukas ba zipper ko?" "Bukas ba butones ng bluse ko?" "May "morning sunshine" pa ata ako kaya panay good morning nila sakin"
It's a relief none if them is true. I got stares again in the train. Which made me think while walking to the office. There's nothing new today for me except for the usual puyat I always have. I am happy today, maybe it radiates. I'm wearing a happy colored uniform, maybe it suits well to their eyes. Maybe the black patent shoes, belt and bags irritates them. I'm wearing a heels, and it's killing my toes..maybe they can sense that. And the thoughts goes on...
I told my friend/officemate about it and his reason is very simple and obvious: "High-waist ka kasi 'teh..kaya sila tingin ng tingin sayo". Bwahahahah :D
Disclamer: *Their looking AT my face and not on my waist.. :p
Note to self: "Maybe it's the Mandarin Orange blouse as uniform i had today." (Praning pa rin...hahahah)
-----------------------------
This could be the start of something new...
I am excited. I am elated. I may be getting what I wanted. I think I'm slowly getting what I've been dreaming. Do i deserve this? Is it happening before my eyes? Will i let this chance, this precious chance to pass me by? Oh.. I can't wait! I just hope this pushes through.. (fingers crossed)

All on Feb 25
On Happy Day
Feb 25 is one of my "Happy Days" ..that day is the day my Mudra and Pudra passed their US Tourist Visa interview. The whole family were ecstatic, I know that they've been wanting to go to my sister's place for so long now..most esp my mother. Me and my sisters are literally screaming our hearts out upon hearing the very pleasant news. :D
Harry and I went malling again..he's my ever reliable, always on-the-go mall buddy. We carbo binged, he window shopped and i scored a patent belt for P60! Wohoo!
On Binging
It's a carbo-load for the whole weekends which extends today, the 26th and tom? Saturday, we had spag. Sunday it's camote, pancit and suman. And the quest for buko juice and kwek-kwek which lead me to San Miguel, Bulacan just to find one! Monday is Sbarro dine-in with Harry at Trinoma, had Baked Ziti and Meaty White Pizza. I thought i can't finished them but we stayed long enough clean our plate. Today's Tuesday and a "generous bday celebrant" treated us with Pizza, 6 boxes of family size pizza. Hahaha :) By tom, me and Yolly will be meeting each other in Napoli's, Morato to experience again our favorite pizza and pasta. OMG.
On Obsession
I am currently obessing black patent "things". It started with the black patent carry-all bag then to the strappy black patent shoes and then yesterday to the black patent (of course) peep toe kitten heels shoes (which i found after more than an hour of "hopping from one shoe to another") and the black patent slim belt which I got for only P60. And I'm using my coin purse from Girbaud which is also of the same kind. (thanks doc!) Hahaha :)

Haggard+Zombie=Me :(
My status msge on my messenger today says: "haggard+adik+zombie=me".
I have all the reason to feel that way, recounting on the things that happened last night, or more accurately few hours ago..
It started last night when I need to get a discount card (not for motels) from my cousin, Nanie and I will be meeting each other at around 6:30pm. I'll be out by 5:30 so I asked Harry, another cousin to join me while waiting for Nanie. Harry works just few strides away from Glorietta so there is no problem in his part, except for the fact that he escaped from his boss and exited in the back door just to avoid him and to meet me. Hehehe, bad Harry. :) I met Harry first and then Nanie, i got the discount card and we went around then later on decided to eat dinner. We're (Harry) both craving for pasta last night so we're thinking of eating pasta to somewhere "new". He initially wanted to eat in Sbarro (which i immediately agreed upon since it's been ages since my last visit there) but well, Sbarro in Glorietta was in G2..so sorry. So i told him about Spaghetti Factory besides Yellow Cab and said that he could get to choose his own pasta and sauce from quite a lot of choices from their menu. Sounds cool diba? So naexcite nman pinsan ko. Me naman had a bad experience (bad food for P300/order pasta) around 4 years ago (my first and i thought my last) but then decided to give a second try. Hey, 4 years is looong enough for them to improve..right?
I ordered for Putanesca (my favorite), it was very bad I automatically considered it as the worst Putanesca I've ever tasted! They had no Parmesan, it's so masabaw you'd think it's sinigang. Black olives are all over the plate, and did i ever mentioned here that i don't like olives? Capers is okay but they put a super-duper overdone cashew (almost black) nuts that made the food bitter. Aw, how bad can it get?
Harry ordered bland Carbonara and thin crust pizza which tastes like paper. We're so pissed off with their food and service I can't help but mutter "yeah right!" when a waiter thanked us and told us to come back next time.
We strolled again looking for a polo barong when I received a call from my lola (my cousin, Ate myla) and she's asking us to join her in Tagaytay for overnight. I made sure that we're all leaving early the following day..I had no dress to wear for work the net day so I made sure they will provide me with everything I'll need in order to come to work afterwards. To cut the long story short, we get to Tagaytay by 11PM. We can't find a place to stay, a decent, not spooky and low budgeted place to stay. We literally drove around the place for like 2hours, looking for place to eat which are all closed by that time. The only bar we ended up is the one beside Starbucks. They had Reggae band that night whish I didn't appreciate. We ordered bulalo (which is a must in Tagaytay) but it tasted like beef broth cube dissolved in not-so hot water! We barely ate the other foods served to us nor enjoyed the band and the annoying drunk guests. We arrived home (my cousin's place) at 3AM. I barely slept, my tummy aches. I woke up before the alarm (7AM) and went to office. I borrwed jeans and shirt from her which is a little big on my frame (feeling ko nga hip-hop ako sa jeans ko). ;)
I got in the office earlier than usual, my eyebags bigger than it has ever been. I'm dizzy. My eyes are teary. i can't look in the monitor without feeling sick so I decided to leave by lunch and went straight to Bulacan.
Oh well...I'm getting old, di ko na kayang mapuyat. :(

It's in the BAG
I'm not a fan of bags (or i just thought?!). I may be carrying a teeny-weeny-tiny bag today and then carry-all bag the next depending on mood errr my latest bag. Most of my bags are from my sister (i got 4 bags from her which are all brown in shade bec fave daw nya), and whatever it is that i just "acquired" will surely be carrying my stuffs for the next months or so until i got/bought another (you see, i don't change my bag everyday for work, i'm too tamad for that).
Currently I'm loving my black carry-all bag (which is one of my xmas gifts for myself) and it's a lot heavier than the previous one I'm using. Well, it's a carry-all bag anyway so I'm carrying everything it can. :D
So here are the things my bag which I carry from Mondays-Fridays, from Bulacan-Makati-QC or any other days/places in between. (Minsan nagpacarwash kami sa kabilang bayan at talagang dinala ko pa bag ko. Ang reason? Para masulit daw. Ahahahah! :) )

- Wallet (with cards, pics, old receipts (which i collect pag memorable), movie passes, McDo fries carton and even band-aids)
- Good-old Springmaid Comb. Yes, and i'm proud of it. Hiyang hair ko dun eh, so kebs!
- Cellphones (Globe and Sun)
- Ipod
- MRT card. (I don't put it inside my wallet. It has a special space in my bag..the CP holder) ;p
- House Keys
- Meds. I have aspirin, mefenamic, bioflu.
- Vanity Kit, which houses my loose powder, blush on, compact, lipstick, lip gloss (i'm crazy over this now), perfume, mini deo spray (seriously), toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss and sanitizer. Parang isang bag na?!
- Two-fold umbrella.
- My passport. (Any moment magfly ako outside the country maiwan pa ko. Heheh)
- Reader's Digest or a book.
- Ballpen.
- Alcohol.
- Earphone for my SE celphone.
- Hanky and/or tissue.
- Sunnies.
Funny. I was actually looking inside my bag while listing it all down and got surprised to realize what I'm carrying all along. EYELAVET! :)
