1. What did you do in 2010 that you’d never done before? Had trasrectal utz. :')

2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year? Some, yes. For next year maybe. Just 2-3 resolutions I think.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth? Yes! 2 of my best friends from HS. I gained 2 inaanak too.

4. Did anyone close to you die? My Tyo Eet (tatay's brother)

5. What countries did you visit? None. Company outing in SG didn't pushed through. :(

6. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010? Financial stability and domestic independence (or whatever you call it).

7. What date from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory and why? Cory Aquino's passing especially her funeral. I cried buckets.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? We hit our Recruitment quota!

9. What was your biggest failure? Wasn't able to hit the beach this year.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury? Yes.

11. What was the best thing you bought? POY my lappy and my very first Le Pliage. :)

12. Whose behavior merited celebration? Kris Aquino stepping out of The Buzz :p

14. Where did most of your money go? Food (Pepper Lunch, Gilligan's and Yellow Cab), gadget and appliances.

29. What did you want and not get? Prolly the SG trip but i'll be getting an X amount instead so no problemo. :)

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old did you turn? Turned 29, celebrated in the office and in QC. Attended mass at the EDSA Shrine, my first time.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? If only I didn't had my health worries.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2010? It's all about skinny jeans and unflattering tops/blouses.

34. What kept you sane? Facebook, Twitter and my daily dose of US TV series.

37. Who did you miss? My nanay, she'll be spending Christmas with my sister in San Diego.

Le Pliage

Last night was supposed to be just a "Pepper Lunch Night", well supposedly nga. Te and I will eat Beef Pepper Rice then go home right after. It must be the Kani Shake Shake salad that I tried (which for me is the best tasting salad I have ever tasted, very reasonable for only P99) I suddenly want to buy a bag. (Paki-connect nalang, please. ;) )

The Aldo bag I bought last January retired last month - my first online purchase, overly used and abused I might say. I'm using the old Jessica Hobo that I got early last year plus I just received my mid-year bonus so I thought it's just the perfect timing to replace it.

The Gap Tote caught my eyes first- perfect size, in very soft light gray leather, reasonable price. But then it doesn't have a zipper so being the careless-twice nadukutan person that I am, I had to look for another.

Next I spotted a very nice bag from ZARA-very trendy (think Mulberry Alexa) and in very gorgeous leather. I was this close to buying the bag but I had major issues- expensive (7K+) AND the sling is not adjustable. It's too long, not comfy at all.

I looked at Mango, Esprit and Celine but nothing caught my eyes, sadly.

I wanted to go home then, a bit disappointed really. Then the always eager Te suggested that I should go back to Zara and get the bag. I told her I can't justify the bag's price, and given that amount I'd rather get a Le Pliage. Oooppsss..

So ladies and gheys, my first dream bag that I've been wanting to get for almost 3 years...


I got the small one in Gray (long handle) @ 3mos 0% installment plan. Haha :)

You may not also get why this bag, but for me this is classic casual chic like me. My office uniform is so casual, you wouldn't think it's a uniform at all so the bag is just right for me. Le Pliage is so light, I bring tons of things inside my bag so the last thing I should be carrying is a heavy bag. It's roomy that's why I chose the small size. Plus, my fave bloggers Daphne and thebaghag raves about this, chuvaness also has a limited ed. Ayee! :)

And did I mention it's also waterproof? So i'm gonna use it as a beach bag too - it can carry my sunblock, phone, a cover up, camera and my fave wayfarer. ;))

So I'm officially broke for the rest of the year, having so many installment purchases under my belt. LAWL. Goodluck to me.

Lest I Forget

Okay, I miss blogging.

• Current addiction: Plants Vs Zombies! I play 'til wee hours every night. Very bad for my eyes, working in front of the computer 9hrs a day plus hours more at night.. and almost the whole day during Saturdays and Sundays. Tsk!
• After my laptop purchase from last post, I bought an air cooler then an aircon after 2 weeks. Jutang much?!
  
• Sad day for my Ipod, i lost all my songs and videos (that's 79Gig baby!) two days ago and I'm still in denial. :( Three years of songs and videos GONE in a snap.
• I'm also going through some personal things (at home and here in the office) which is soooo record breaking- APPALLED is an understatement.
• American Idol, Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl and Grey's Anatomy has aired its finale. Still holding on to Glee and very excited for June for True Blood Season 2 (looong wait, yay!)
• JUNE is a big month for me. Yun lang pohz. :p

Are there other things? I sure hope there's more.

1. Text message received yesterday: "Matalim na naman tabas ng dila mo, nakakasugat ka." - Kyoooot. :)
   
2. Earlier I saw a former college classmate's wedding pictures. One of the caption says, "Mr. and Mrs. Maramot".
3. I wore the wrong pants today (uniform), good thing the P50 fine for not wearing uniform will start next month. How very gradeschool.
4. Someone's FB status yesterday: "So you're the queen in your own little world. Who cares?" - Oo nga, sino ba talaga? The "like" button was disabled.
5. Here in the office you can smell a message that says, "KIMERALD" for life. LOL
   
6. Ms. iTouch girl (the girl I see everyday in the train for work and is ALWAYS using her iTouch) is now reading a book! She can read! She can read! Tuesdays with Morrie to be exact. And she's still using her ipod while reading. :))
7. I ate pork humba for lunch and suddenly thought of Ate Amy who fed me for more than 2 years when I was living in Sampaloc (pork humba is one of my fave dish in her carinderia). God I miss her sinampalukan. :(
8. I gave up Coke for Lent and it's not easy. I miss drinking Coke everyday!
9. I got a little something from the Management today. It's more than what I'm expecting but it's less than what I deserve. But I'm thankful anyway.

TV Talk

I don't usually watch TV except for the news. But I have my regular TV series that I usually watch every night- thanks to my Ipod Rush and of course, internet connection at the office. ;)

This season I added two new series which has now become my favourites. And it has been more than a month now since I last saw them...come back! Come back!!! :(


Vampire Diaries. As I always profess- I love vampires. All sorts. From Stephenie Meyers' to HBO's True Blood and now this. It's sexy at the same time intriguing. Not that violent compared with True Blood. And they're all HOT!


Glee! My one and only series about kids, err.. highschool-ers i mean. This series made a 360 deg turn from my usual dose of drama. They SING! And by singing I meant they can REALLY SING. A lot of my friends got hooked on the first episode. And we're addicted to its soundtrack too.


Of course there's still the weekly dose of Gossip Girl, Grey's Anatomy and True Blood (by July) and very very soon American Idol (now with Ellen D.) and I can't wait!
