- Current addiction: Plants Vs Zombies! I play 'til wee hours every night. Very bad for my eyes, working in front of the computer 9hrs a day plus hours more at night.. and almost the whole day during Saturdays and Sundays. Tsk!
- After my laptop purchase from last post, I bought an air cooler then an aircon after 2 weeks. Jutang much?!
- Sad day for my Ipod, i lost all my songs and videos (that's 79Gig baby!) two days ago and I'm still in denial. :( Three years of songs and videos GONE in a snap.
- I'm also going through some personal things (at home and here in the office) which is soooo record breaking- APPALLED is an understatement.
- American Idol, Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl and Grey's Anatomy has aired its finale. Still holding on to Glee and very excited for June for True Blood Season 2 (looong wait, yay!)
- JUNE is a big month for me. Yun lang pohz. :p

Random Blah!
- Text message received yesterday: "Matalim na naman tabas ng dila mo, nakakasugat ka." - Kyoooot. :)
- Earlier I saw a former college classmate's wedding pictures. One of the caption says, "Mr. and Mrs. Maramot".
- I wore the wrong pants today (uniform), good thing the P50 fine for not wearing uniform will start next month. How very gradeschool.
- Someone's FB status yesterday: "So you're the queen in your own little world. Who cares?" - Oo nga, sino ba talaga? The "like" button was disabled.
- Here in the office you can smell a message that says, "KIMERALD" for life. LOL
- Ms. iTouch girl (the girl I see everyday in the train for work and is ALWAYS using her iTouch) is now reading a book! She can read! She can read! Tuesdays with Morrie to be exact. And she's still using her ipod while reading. :))
- I ate pork humba for lunch and suddenly thought of Ate Amy who fed me for more than 2 years when I was living in Sampaloc (pork humba is one of my fave dish in her carinderia). God I miss her sinampalukan. :(
- I gave up Coke for Lent and it's not easy. I miss drinking Coke everyday!
- I got a little something from the Management today. It's more than what I'm expecting but it's less than what I deserve. But I'm thankful anyway.
- I'm excited for March5! :D

And the weener is.. (insert drum roll here)
So this Rico Salandanan dress that I got from Landmark is so sulit, it won 2nd place (I didn't find anything that looks like the dresses I posted). Paired with a killer 3in heels-killer indeed. I had to wear flats for two consecutive days after.
My white dress stood out since most of my officemates wore black. I thought of wearing black since LBD looks very classic and easy to find in almost all shops. Allan B, the host called me "Armida" for the sleeves, my other friends called me "Madame President". :))

Window Shopping
I've been searching for a black and white ensemble which I'll be using on the 12th for our Christmas Party. I haven't had time to troop to the mall but atleast I already had an idea what to look for so hopefully our local shops have any of these.. kahit close to these..

Of course, this dress is very Serena Vanderwoodsen. (I just wish I have legs and behind like hers so I can pull this off). Hahah

This wrap-around jersey dress from Banana Republic looks gorgeous- perfect for a not-so-formal party like ours. (Also, jersey dress would do magic on me now that I'm a little plump. ;) )

This BCBGMaxAzria combo totally reminds me of Blair Waldorf. Looks good in either pumps or wedge.

And for some drama, and a sure-fire hit (read: winner in the "nag-abala award") this dress from Debenhams is perfect. I *heart* ribbons talaga, sure na.

Paramdam Lang
Wow, my first post for September. I've been very busy at home and in the office right now (details below) since mid-August hence the lack of posts. Here's a list of the happenings lately (in tabs, i LOVE tabs, btw).
- Been religiously busy with Limewire: downloading series, movies, songs for RUSH - my new Ipod.
- Currently hooked up with Gossip Girl. ;)
- I'm working now as Recruitment - Marketing Officer in the office filling up for my partner who's on leave.
- I have once a week "Bar-Ops"/ swimming lesson / malling with cousins / overnights 'til end of the month.
- We're not going to Dumaguete - CDO anymore! (To give way to a departed relative, a preggy cousin's wife, a tightening wallet plus personal stuffs).
- Nanay is coming back this Friday, I am sooooo excited and my niece's (Lorein) first bday. ( And i'll miss my friend A's bonggang-bonggang 80's bday party at the Crowne Plaza Hotel).
- I'm also finishing the book A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini which I borrowed from my officemate B.
- Of course, Bora on Oct will (must) push through so still arranging things for this and in effect I'll miss a cousin's wedding on the same date. (Did I ever mention I also heart weddings and dressing up for weddings?! Argh!)
I wish I can be at two places at one time. :(

Something Good on a Manic Monday Morning
Food For The Soul

Cracks me up coz I can totally relate to it. :o)
Riding the MRT as we all know means "everyday struggle not to waste all your saved energy from resting the whole night in the morning by just riding the train". This is an ordinary thing for me now, the price I have to pay for living in QC and working in the far end of Makati. :)
But this morning is just different, apart from the usual pushing and shoving (which i master by now, btw) they are playing Food for the Soul by Chowking! Music to my ears, really. Every station they would play either a short story (and relates a life's lesson after) or quote a passage from the Bible worth reflecting. Shushal, davah? ;)) In fairness, I think this worked well especially in the morning since you have something good to think about to start the morning positively. I also noticed quiet ride this morning, maybe all of us in the girls' car are busy reflecting. Yun nga lang, pag everyday mo maririnig yun baka back to jungle na ulit. But i won't focused on that, see I'm a positive girl now.
But not long before i received these..

Cracks me up coz I can totally relate to it. :o)
