GMA-Kamuning Station:

Today I Learned: Greenpeace

Today I learned from a "reliable source" that big hurricanes are all over the carribean sea and this is due to global warming.

My sister and the rest of her family in San Diego are experiencing heat waves now. They can't stand the heat in their house so they had to buy an aircon. That's sad news considering that they should've been using warmers than aircons! My pamangkin even commented that she would faint from too much heat. Oh, another Tricia's exagerrations!

This made me think that I should not just sit here and do nothing about this very serious problem we are facing. Last monday on my way to Makati from Bulacan, I saw children burning tires and it emits big black smoke. I wanna get off the car and stop those children from doing that since I cannot stop the tires from burning. :( It felt sad. I kept on commenting about the effects that those children did to the ozone layer afterwards. Before, I planned in joining a group or an organization that would plant trees all over Metro Manila. I haven't done that. I'm still looking forward to doing that soon. Probably I should start looking for an organization now more than ever.

So I just signed up for Greenpeace Movement, for now. :) It's an international group of environmental protectors and enthusiasts. Accdg to their website, "Greeenpeace exists because this fragile earth deserves a voice. It needs solutions. It needs change. It needs action." Nice diba?

Wishlist

It's the time of the year when I can smell balikbayan and gift boxes. :) Since October and December are just two months away from each other, let me share my birthday and christmas wishlist. Most of the stuffs in the list are expensive BUT can wait 'til 2015. ;) Mind you, the list is intended for one-two person only. You know who you are! :)

1. Dior Flower Enameled Necklace (expensive, could wait 'til next year or the year after)
